Frequently Asked Questions

Thank you for visiting Guiding Stones.
To help you choose a natural gemstone bracelet with confidence, we have answered the questions we most often receive before purchase.

This page covers product selection, payment, shipping, returns, exchanges, and other information that may help with your decision.

1. Can I ask questions before purchasing?

Yes. We encourage you to resolve any questions before choosing your bracelet.

We can explain the fit, color, translucency, rutile, patterning, inclusions, included items, and delivery method. Additional photographs or video of the actual item may also be available when needed.

2. Do any products include a Gem Identification Report?

Yes. Please look for “Gem Identification Report: Included” on the product page or product listing.

For an item that does not include a Gem Identification Report, it may be possible to obtain one upon request. Availability, cost, and turnaround time depend on the natural gemstone and the gemological laboratory's current acceptance conditions. Please contact us before purchasing.

3. Can the color look different from the actual item?

We photograph each item as accurately as possible, but color and appearance can vary slightly depending on your device and lighting environment.

If you are unsure, you may request additional photographs or video taken from different angles or under different lighting.

4. Are the gemstones natural?

We source natural gemstones through several domestic and international suppliers, and the owner inspects each actual item before it is listed. When a Gem Identification Report is included, its stated information is shown in the product photographs. For some items without a Gem Identification Report, you may ask whether one can be obtained.

5. Can I return, exchange, or receive a refund?

Because every natural gemstone has an individual appearance and many listings show the exact bracelet that will be dispatched, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds due to a change of mind or personal preference.

If the item has a defect or the wrong item was delivered, please contact us within seven days, including the delivery date. After reviewing the details, we will arrange an appropriate return, exchange, or refund.

6. Will I receive the exact item shown?

As a general rule, you will receive the actual item shown in the product photographs. For listings of an individual bracelet, the photographed item is the item that will be dispatched.

7. Are inclusions or surface features considered defects?

Natural gemstones may have naturally occurring inclusions, small indentations, color variations, and differences in patterning. The condition of each item is shown in its photographs and description, and you may request additional confirmation before purchasing.

8. What do the quality ranks mean?

Guiding Stones quality ranks are our own reference points for comparing visible appearance and overall finish.

Guiding Stones Signature Selection
Used for products with an especially strong balance of quality, appearance, and presence within the Guiding Stones selection.

Guiding Stones Premium Selection
Used for visually beautiful products with a high standard of color, translucency, patterning, and inclusions.

Guiding Stones Fine Selection
Used for products that offer dependable quality while preserving the individual character of natural gemstones.

9. Can I ask about sizing?

Yes. We can confirm the current inner circumference and bead size and explain the expected fit. Please ask whether adjustment is available for the specific item.

10. How much is shipping?
  • Free domestic shipping on orders of ¥10,000 or more
  • Flat-rate domestic shipping of ¥500, including tax, on orders below ¥10,000

The threshold is based on the merchandise total, excluding shipping and other fees.

11. When will my order be dispatched?

Orders are normally dispatched within one to three business days after payment is confirmed. Delivery timing varies by shipping method, destination, traffic, and other carrier conditions.

When the selected payment method requires payment confirmation, shipment preparation begins after payment has been confirmed.

12. Which payment methods are available?

The payment methods currently available for your order are the methods displayed during checkout.

A method that is not displayed during checkout is not available for that order. Availability may vary according to the order, device, region, checkout environment, and the current status of each payment service.

13. Is there a payment deadline?

Where a payment deadline applies, follow the date and instructions displayed during checkout, in the payment notice, or by the relevant payment provider.

If payment cannot be completed or confirmed by the applicable deadline, we may release the reserved inventory and cancel the order.

14. Will an unpaid order be dispatched?

No. When payment confirmation is required, we begin preparing the order for dispatch only after payment is confirmed.

An order awaiting required payment confirmation will not be dispatched.

15. Are bracelets cleansed before dispatch?

Yes. Guiding Stones ships each bracelet after cleansing it with clear quartz and sage.

16. Do the meanings or effects of natural gemstones guarantee results?

The meanings associated with natural gemstones are introduced as examples of long-standing traditions and interpretations. Some people choose them as symbols when reflecting on personal wishes or actions, but they do not guarantee any specific effect or result.

17. Can I choose an item as a gift?

Yes. Natural gemstone bracelets are selected both for personal use and as gifts. If you are considering an item as a gift, please contact us before purchasing to confirm the included items and how your order will be packaged and shipped.
